Terms of Service

By using Movie Nights Club ("the app"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Account

You must sign in with a valid Google or Apple account to use the app. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or hateful
• Share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content in reviews or chat
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to interact with the app
• Interfere with the operation or security of the app

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (reviews, chat messages, watchlist entries). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content to other users within the app as part of normal functionality (e.g., showing your review to group members).

We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

4. Movie and TV Data

Movie and TV show information (titles, posters, descriptions, ratings) is provided by TMDB (The Movie Database). This data is used under the terms of the TMDB API Terms of Use. We are not affiliated with TMDB.

5. Groups and Invitations

When you create a group, you become its owner. Group invite codes allow anyone with the code to join the group. You are responsible for sharing invite codes only with people you trust. Group owners may remove members at any time.

6. Availability

We strive to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without liability.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the app (which is zero, as the app is free).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
