Delete in the app

1. Open Movie Nights Club and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap the Settings gear in the top right.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you can't use the app, email hello@utopyk.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your account and profile (name, email, username, and profile photo), watchlists and watch status, ratings and reviews on your profile, friends, blocks, group memberships, poll votes, awards, notification settings, and device notification tokens.

What is kept

Groups stay with their other members. If you own a group, it passes to its longest-standing admin, or otherwise its longest-standing member; a group with no other members is closed.

In your groups, the following stay visible to the other members without your name or profile attached: messages you sent, items you added to the shared list, polls and nominations you created, group photos you uploaded, and activity feed entries (which can include a short excerpt of a review and your rating). Reports you made, and reports others made about you (including a copy of the reported content and your name at the time), are kept so we can finish reviewing them, and your username is reserved so no one else can take it.

To have any of this removed, email us and we will delete it within 30 days.
